Jennie-O Turkey Store offers more than 40 commodity turkey products for school foodservice. Our Recipe Contest challenges you to select one (or two!) of these products and show us a new recipe idea that you actually menued in your school. We want to hear about your turkey success — and share with your peers another great way to further take advantage of our Full Substitution and Standard Yield Commodity Processing Program. Submit a recipe! It's fun, it's challenging, and you just might win a free trip to Las Vegas for the 2009 ANC Show!

Grand Prize:
All-expenses-paid trip to the 2009 Annual National Conference in Las Vegas, June 30-July 2, 2009; including airfare, ground transportation, lodging and meals, plus dinner at miX*, Mandalay Bay’s ultra-chic sky lounge and restaurant.

11 Monthly Prizes:
A culinary experience in Las Vegas at miX, Mandalay Bay’s lavish French-fusion restaurant, on Wednesday evening, July 1, 2009, in conjunction with the 2009 ANC. Winners will also have their recipe and photo featured in a new 2009 series of turkey recipe cards and on other Jennie-O Turkey Store promotional materials.

Contest Rules and Entry Requirements:

Each month, from August 2008 through May 2009, Jennie-O Turkey Store will select a monthly winner from the recipe contest entries. Monthly winners will automatically be eligible for the Grand Prize and will also be dinner guests of Jennie-O Turkey Store at miX on Wednesday, July 1, 2009. All entries will become property of Jennie-O Turkey Store. Grand Prize package pays for one person only, with lodging at one of the ANC hotels. Monthly winners will be chosen every month for the eleven months before the 2009 ANC show.

This contest is open to active school foodservice professionals only. Recipe entries must use Jennie-O Turkey Store commodity product as an ingredient and must have been menued at least once on a school menu. School foodservice professionals can enter contest with each unique qualifying recipe. All entries and winner photos become property of the Jennie-O Turkey Store and may be placed on the Jennie-O Turkey Store website.
