Turkey Burrito Bowl

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare the rice according to instructions. Hold rice at 140°F for service.
  2. Remove thawed turkey from the bag and divide it equally in 2" pans. Break it apart with a fork.
  3. Add the chili powder, cumin, garlic and oregano. Mix to combine.
  4. Cook the turkey at 350°F. for 30 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
  5. Remove beans from cans, drain and rinse. Heat or steam the beans until they reach 165°F. as measured by a meat thermometer. Hold at 140° for service.
  6. Assemble the service: Scoop 1/2 c. (#8 scoop) rice into a 12-16 oz bowl. Add 1/4 c. scoop beans (#16 scoop), 1/2 c. turkey, 1/4 c. lettuce and 1/4 c. salsa.
