Turkey and Dill Cucumber Burger

This burger is the ultimate in light and fresh, yet satisfying to any appetite. The cool flavors of cucumber and dill creme fraiche spread with the tanginess of fresh tomato and pickled red onions are rounded out by a slightly sweet honey oat bun.

Directions

  • In a small sauce pan bring vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and pepper to a simmer then shut off heat.
  • Add onions andlet cool to room temperature then strain.
  • Combine creme fraiche, cucumber, dill, and lemon juice in a bowl. Mix well and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  • Heat fully cooked patty via flat top grill, char grill, convection oven or fryer to 165 degrees F as measured by meat thermometer.
  • Place white turkey patty on bottom honey oat bun.
  • Top with 1 tomato slice, and 1 1/2 ounces of pickled red onion.
  • Spread 2 or 3 ounces of cucumber and dill creme fraiche on top honey oat bun and place on top of burger.

4  each Fully Cooked White Turkey Patty
4  each Honey oat buns
1  each Seedless cucumber, peeled and 1/8'' diced
1  cup Creme Fraiche
1  T. Fresh chopped dill
2  T. Fresh lemon juice
4  each Tomato, large slices
6  ounces Shaved red onion
1  cup Red wine vinegar
4  ounces water
2  ounces Sugar
1  t. Salt
1/2  t. Coarse black pepper
