Cherry Rhubarb Turkey Burger

  • Puck patties- Using a cutting board wrapped in plastic, lay out your patties and cover with plastic wrap.
  • Puck patties- Gently press to flatten them a bit into a thick but round patty. Coat each one with olive and season to taste with the rest of the ingredients.
  • Puck patties- Grill at medium high heat for 6 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
  • Puck patties- Two minutes before they are done, melt cheese over top.
  • Black Cherry Rhubarb Sauce- In a medium pan, heat butter over medium heat.
  • Black Cherry Rhubarb Sauce- Add in cherries and rhubarb, salt, juniper berries and cumin.
  • Black Cherry Rhubarb Sauce- Cook until liquid has reduced and rhubarb is tender. Add in vinegar and sugar, stirring constantly. Cook until the liquid has thickened to a syrup consistency.
  • Black Cherry Rhubarb Sauce- Set aside and keep warm.
  • Orange Peppercorn Cilantro Aioli- Combine all ingredients and blend well.
  • Orange Peppercorn Cilantro Aioli- It is best if this is made ahead of time to let the flavors marinate.
  • Assemble all on top your favorite bun and ENJOY!!

3/4  Cup Mayonnaise- Orange Peppercorn Cilantro Aioli
1/4  Cup Sour Cream- Orange Peppercorn Cilantro Aioli
